I've been playing guitar, harmonica and banjo since around 1965. My first banjo was an Ode Muse, purchased at the Folklore Center in NYC. My current banjo is a Stelling Whitestar given to me in 1992. I was part of a New Jersey band called "St. Elmo's Fire" from 1976 to 2001. Currently, I'm in two bands in the Poughkeepsie, NY area: "No Brakes" and "Mama Tried."
