Have been interested in music, and bluegrass/similar acoustic music since the 1990s. Won my Goodtime as a giveaway on the 100th episode of the Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour (www.woodsongs.com), so I figured I needed to learn how to play! Later was given the Sierra as a Christmas gift by my family. Play Scruggs style but intend to learn clawhammer sometime. Am on the Advisory Committee of community public radio station WDVX-FM (www.wdvx.com) and have played in their banjo marching band for the Knoxville Dogwood Arts Festival.
