Prime Rich Era in stunning condition with a seemingly unused Gibson-branded TKL case. This one is from a short run (12 banjos?) in 1992 that were factory cherry red finish (though honestly it's more like a 1930s Style 1), not sunburst. If you want to be the only one on your block with a non-sunburst Rich-era ESS, this is the one! No fretwear and only signs of age are some light lacquer checking, the pictured wear to the binding on the resonator and a couple impossible to photograph impressions on the back of the neck in first position. Otherwise basically pristine. Sounds as good as it plays with perfect low action.
The only flaw on the case is that the original owner cut out the interior cloth cover - I've included several pics so you can see just how clean the case is.
