Genre: Old Time / Playing Style: Clawhammer and Old-Time
This one is something like William Stepp's 1937 recording, and also Hunter Robertson's take on that version. I recorded this as a test of my newly brass-plated fretless conversion. Played in D (I strung it light so I could tune up to pitch w/o a capo.) I've simplified it to AA BB AA B'B' - where B' is the high octave variation.
