Recording King RK-25
I'm a clawhammer player who purchased this banjo used with the idea I wanted to mess around with three finger style. I never liked the weight of it and about a month after I got this, a custom built white laydie that I had commissioned arrived. I gradually started playing all my three finger stuff on that, and this just collects dust now.
This was obviously played by the previous owner as evidenced by the head wear (see in picture) but it is in good condition. I fairly certain the 5th string tuner was replaced since it's a different color. All I did to this banjo was add the Lakota Leathers strap, which will be included in the sale and put new strings on it.
The hardshell case is also included. The stand in the picture is not included.
I'm not wild about return policies on a banjo at this price point due to shipping costs. If you really feel like there has to be one, let me know and we can discuss it, but I'm going to let you know, up front, in order for a return to work, the buyer is going to have to pay shipping both ways, which could be a quarter the cost of this banjo.
I know I've never sold anything here. You're welcome to check out my Reverb profile or reach out to me privately and we can set up a call / facetime / zoom, etc. whatever makes you comfortable so you know that I am actually in possession of this banjo.
I copied the below specs off a website. I'm not super familiar with bluegrass style banjos, so please correct me if I am wrong.
This is a great sounding banjo. I just simply don't play it enough.
