Mr. Fults produced excellent and innovative tailpiece designs. His workmanship is second to none.
If you look at pre-war Grover pat. Presto tenor tailpieces the strings pull parallel across the bridge. I believe this parallel string pull gives the cleanest, clearest tone and volume. The Fults 1934 parallel is designed so all five strings pull parallel to each other across the bridge(like the Grover pat Prestos did with 4 stringed tenor and plectrums).
The Fults parallel 1934 is super well built and fully adjustable.
