Bob and I will also be at the Florida Folk Festival on Memorial Day
weekend, and after that we will be heading for Pasadena, Albuquerque, and
Brasstown, NC. If you will be in or near any of those places in
June--please come out to our concerts and workshops--it is always
wonderful to see smiling familiar faces in a distant town. :)
Here's a first look at our schedule, and more details are coming soon. :)

The Recording King company has been very generous with me and put a
beautiful new Ne Ultra plus in my hands this year. I have been enjoying
playing it very much, and they have me as the featured artist on their web
site this week, if you'd like to take a look. Click on the artist link and

Groundhog Strut. :)

Yes--that is Bluepup--our parakeet, singing in the background. He really
perked up that day and sang with real gusto along with the Bowlin. :)
If you look at the other videos near this--you will also see a couple of
me playing my new John Hartford open back. I am really in love with this
banjo. It is so lightweight that I can even stand and dance around while
playing. :)
