Sound

I can't find any place to submit a question, so will use this space. I changed the tuning from G to F. I like the sound better. It has a more mellow tone, as one would expect from a lower key. Seems a llittle easier to play, as I would expect it to be with less tension on the strings,. My question is, "WILL THIS DAMAGE MY BANJO IN ANY WAY?"
I haven't had any trouble with this banjo. It is lightweight and is well worth the price. |

Would recommend replacing the tailpiece with Goldtones straight line, or a clamshell. Try other bridges. |
