A bit brighter than I care for from a Mahogany Banjo but very dry and hollow. Superb sound. Sound Rating 8 Setup Needed a tail, strings and a complete setup. Setup Rating 5 Appearance She is beautiful, Nickel in great shape and a Gold Kulesh ring peeking out from under the head. The inlays on every R&T I've seen are beautiful and this one is no exception. Appearance Rating 9 Reliability So far not a problem. Tuners are good everything is in place and stays there. Shes sturdy. Reliability Rating 9 Customer Service NA Customer Service not rated Components The Gold Kulesh ring needs a tight head to open her up but once you're there she responds to the slightest touch with ease. The frets are a bit smaller than I like, I'm giving serious thought to having her completely refretted. Components Rating 8 Overall Comments No question this is a great banjo and I would miss her if she were gone. I'd try and replace her with another R&T (same vintage) if I could find one.
