Mike's mute is far and away the best mute I have used in terms of maintaining a tone closest to a banjo and with no buzzing. I agree with everything that was said in the review in this month's Banjo Newsletter. I live in an apartment building in NYC, so a mute is a necessity for playing late at night. Also, Mike Stidd was great to deal with and I received the mute very quickly after I ordered it. Overall Rating 10
